Duquoin State Fairgrounds, The Arca Elite Tuesday Night Fixed Division was on the dirt for the running of the Glorys House 120. Sean Bickel would take the pole edging out Jake Simmons with a lap of 31.7863 seconds to grab his first pole in the series.



Bryan Busick in his new Skoal Bandit Chevy trys to make a pass on Hal Beardsworth for the fourth postion early in the race, Busick would go on to have a strong fifth place finish while beardsworth would find trouble to finish a disapointing 15 th.


But tonight it was two cars that showed they were the class of the field John Westling would lead until 5 laps to go, until Sean Bickel would get under John and beating him into turn three leaving John in second place, Bickel would go on to win his second race of the season. The seasons points championship gets tighter as Joe Sheedy leads over John Westling by 20 points while Westling over take Ron Sheedy for the second spot with just two races to go.

Kansas Speedway, The Arca Elite Wide Open Series was in action tonight and all I have to say is Wow, Wow and Wow what a race 36 car starting field , 9 cautions for 29 laps, 11 lead changes and one whale of a race. Bryan Busick in his Skoal Bandit Chevy and just his second race @ Elite Sim Racing would take the pole.



Three wide action seemed to be the norm tonight as the racing was very good all night like this shot of Scott Osborn trying to make the pass on Howard Pittman and oscar Smith on the low line. Scott would later have engine problems and would finish 30th. Howard would finish 22nd and oscar 31st.



The pass that would prove to be for the win Joe Sheedy passing John Westling for second place on the second lap of a restart with 12 laps to go. both John and Joe had fresher tires and turning laps well under 31.2 seconds and would chase the leader Busick down to finish one two.



Joe Sheedy winning his first race in the Wide Open Series of the year followed by John Westling and Steve foley. Next week the Wide Open Series will take to the dirt.
